Korak Kuhnert

Korak Kuhnert is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Magnetic, where he leads product development and technical architecture.

Before founding Magnetic, Korak spent over a decade in software development across multiple industries. He started his career writing cellphone gateways at Grapevine Interactive, then spent four years building systems for banking, insurance, and trading companies. He went on to lead development teams at Ivorytower and later returned to Grapevine Interactive as Head of Development, where he managed large-scale technology projects.

It was during this time, working closely with agencies and service businesses, that Korak saw the same operational problems repeated everywhere: scattered tools, no single view of the business, and teams constantly switching between systems to get basic answers about profitability and capacity. He started building Magnetic to solve those problems.

Since 2010, Korak has been designing and building Magnetic's platform, drawing on first-hand experience of what professional services firms actually need from their software. He writes about project management methodology, Agile practices for service firms, and the technical architecture behind integrated business management.
