A RACI Chart is a matrix used to assign roles and responsibilities in a project. The acronym stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed. It clarifies who is responsible for each task, who needs to be consulted, and who should be kept informed throughout the project.

How to use a RACI Chart

  1. Create a RACI Chart at the beginning of the project to define roles for each task or deliverable.
  2. Clearly outline who is responsible for completing each task, who makes final decisions (accountable), who provides input (consulted), and who needs to stay updated (informed).

Tip: Share the RACI Chart with the team and stakeholders to prevent confusion and ensure everyone knows their role and responsibility throughout the project.
